The service is great! The ambiance is wonderful! The food is just downright delicious. The best way I can describe it is when I had my first Shrimp Po Boy sandwich and the catfish, no one could have told me that I wasn't sitting in a restaurant in the City of New Orleans eating Cajun style food. It makes you want to come back for more and more. Besides that the owners are very friendly and take the time to stop at each table to assure that their customers are highly satisfied. That in itself will make you not want to eat anywhere else. Thanks to Jodie and Eye'Emiriande for making our restaurant experience a great one. YUM YUM YUM......I had Salmon, mashed potoaes & string beans....yum YUM. My fiancée had short ribs, greens, mac & cheese and cornbread cake! YUM YUM YUM. Terry was our server a he was simply AMAZING. He was knowledgeable, friendly, accommodating.

My mother and I came here for lunch after a business meeting. The restaurant is spacious, neat, and clean. It boasts a large bar area as well as a modest dining room upon entry. There are multiple large televisions displayed. There's also a jukebox. The staff were very professional, personable, and friendly. They were eager to serve offering most ordered menu selections and their personal food preferences, providing details about the establishment, upcoming events, seasonal menus, as well as letting us tour the place. It's large with plenty of space for hosting events which they do regularly and offer for rent. The food was delicious as well. We ordered the crab and spinach dip, old bay wings, side of greens, and salmon bites. The spinach and crab dip with the crispy chips... YUM. We also had margaritas mine being the spicy margarita which had a kick but was not overbearingly spicy. I enjoyed my time and plan to return in the near future for 1 of their many events. I recently attended a gala at 9 five on Saturday Jan 25, 2025 and I was so extremely impressed with the service of the staff, they were attentive, professional, patient and kind. They served with excellence. The food was amazing and delicious beyond anything i ever had , seasoned well, flavorful, perfect temp. Sweet tea was good as well. It was just an overall fantastic experience. I will attend every event at 9five i am invited to, because of the service and atmosphere. You can tell the owners care about service of other. WHAT A GREAT EXPERIENCE!​

Restaurant gives you home-like, very comfortable vibes. Service was great, bartender was super busy but attentive! Wings were so good. Nice crisp but juicy! Drinks were strong, only needed one. Crabs were ok but was more shocked they were even offered?? I loved it - who has a special on individual crabs? Overall an amazing time!

We went on a Saturday and they were pretty busy, so decided to sit on the bar side. They have a bar section in addition to a regular dining, they also have space that can be reserved for private parties. The server was very nice but a little unsure. She was still in her first week, so we'll give her some grace. The food was really good, worth one caveat. The menu says they offer a smash burger. It's NOT a smash burger. It seemed to be a regular 1/3 pound burger. With that said, it was very good. They have $4.00 margarita Mondays and karaoke on Wednesdays.

Fairly new family black owned business. The place was practically empty. The food was pretty good. They have great happy hours specials. Monday night was $4 margaritas which didn't disappoint. Everything was great up until I moved from the bar and sat at the table with my other friends that came in. The server nor bartender was knowledgeable on wine. My best friend asked for Prosecco and was brought a red wine... sent it back to be sent a rose .... They lost a star for this. I just can't give you five stars when the bartender doesn't know how to give the right drinks. 18% gratuity is automatically added to checks. It's great parking and a very nice sized restaurant. They also rent spaces for private parties. It has everything it needs for a flourishing business just please educate you staff your food and drink selections. I have plans on going back definitely a place that's chill and food and drinks will be good...

I love the decor in this restaurant. It's well lit and the tapestry that separates the main dining area from the bar area is beautifully strung with lights. I was here for a party with about 30 people. Out server Devin was satisfactory and very cheerful. I do think they should have had an additional server working with Devin because it took a very long time for him to get everyone's orders. This resulted in some people getting entrees before some of us had even gotten appetizers. As far as food, I got the crab egg rolls and they were quite tasty. Nice and meaty with very little filler. They come with a sweet and sour sauce. My main entree was the grilled veggies and pasta. It comes with a medley of broccoli, peppers, mushrooms, garlic, sun dried tomatoes, onions and Parmesan with olive oil drizzled on it. The vegetables were perfectly cooked, but this dish lacked flavor for me. A pesto sauce would be perfect on this or even some ribbons of fresh basil. My family got the following and on a scale of 1-10, 10 being the best, here's how they rated their food. Crab cake sandwich- 7 Cheese steak- 6 Shrimp tacos- 9 I will probably return and try the salmon or shrimp tacos next time. This place is definitely worth another shot.

A coworker told me that there is a new restaurant close to our job (the airport) and suggested I go try it out. I'm so glad I did! 9Five Kitchen and Bar is a family style dine in restaurant with a bar (for the grown folk) It's about 10 minutes from BWI, close to the light rail, and easy access to highway 95. So whether you are coming from Baltimore or DC, or on a layover, access is easy! Ms. Robin and Chef Bobby were amazing and a pleasure to meet.
